Background documentationRecovering Deleted Objects using Version Management

If you delete some development objects accidentally, you may be able to recover them using version management.

For each deleted object, there are two cases to consider:

  • The object has a version history. In this case, you just need to go to the object editor for the respective object and retrieve the latest version of the object. The object will be restored to the repository. However, the object will be in an inactive state and you need to activate the object manually.

  • The object does not have a version history. In this case, refer to SAP Note 130906Information published on SAP site for information about copying the version history for the object from another system.
