Process documentationAdding Systems from the Solution Manager Landscape

In the activity, Define Project Landscape you specify the systems you want to use in your project. If the control system is a Solution Manager system, you can select a system from the solution manager landscape.

If your project landscape contains a statistics system, you can view the logical components that were determined for this statistics system in the activity Activate Statistics Collection. In the activity, Define Project Landscape, you can use the input help view these logical components, and their associated development, QA, and production systems. You can also search for systems in the solution manager landscape (tapbage Search for System).

If your project does not contain a statistics system (for example in a UCIA project) then you can use the input help to view all development, QA, and production systems that are part of the Solution Manager landscape.

Prerequisites

  • The system you want to add has a minimum support package level of ST-PI 2008_1_* SP04.

  • If you use a trusted destination, the RFC user must have either the CDMC master role SAP_CDMC_MASTER or the CDMC user role SAP_CDMC_USER.

  • If you use a TMW destination, the RFC user must have either the CDMC master role SAP_CDMC_MASTER or the CDMC user role SAP_CDMC_USER.
