Copy the system landscape specified in the System Landscape, into the SAP Solution Manager. Follow the SAP Solution Manager installation guide, and the instructions under Landscape Management.

You connect the integration server to the SAP Solution Managers in your system landscape in which ID mapping is to be performed. Create RFC connections in the system landscape maintenance or the RFC DestinationMaintenance (SM59), for business systems or the integration server

Start the Customizing ID Mapping with the transaction SCIDM_CONFIG.

You can specify other non-ABAP business systems in the Business Systems editing, flag Integration Servers, and create other RFC destinations.

You create ID types with the Customizing ID Type Editor.

You can create global ID types with the Global ID Type Editor.

Create type groups, which create a relationship between customizing ID types, business systems, and an integration server:

You can base the type groups on global customizing ID types.

Define ID mappings.

Export the ID mappings into the integration server.
