If your portal administrator has configured the portal to use the Ajax Framework Page, you may notice differences in the look and feel of your portal and the locations of some of the features compared to those described in this guide. You may also have access to additional functions in your portal, depending on the settings configured by your administrator.

The following table describes these features.

Feature

Description

Default menus

There are three default menus that appear at the top of the Ajax Framework Page:

  • History: Displays a list of the most recently visited pages.

  • Personalize: Enables you to personalize the current page, and optionally the entire portal.

  • Help: Displays links to SAP Help Portal and optionally to other Help sites.

Reordering top-level navigation

You can reorder items in top-level navigation using drag and drop. Your administrator can specify that a number of top-level navigation entries remain fixed.

Full screen

The Full Screen button allows you to maximize and minimize the portal screen. Full screen mode displays the content area without the navigation areas.

Top-level navigation scrolling

If top-level navigation contains more items than can fit the width of the screen, scrolling arrows appear.

The left and right arrows enable you to scroll to items that are not immediately visible. Choose the double arrow to display the full list of top-level navigation entries.

You can navigate directly to items by choosing them from the list.
