Attaching Non-ABAP Objects Using the Command Line ToolLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

  • You have installed the Command Line Tool on your SAP NetWeaver Application Server Java.

    For more information on installing the Command Line Tool, see the SAP NetWeaver Application Server Java documentation under Transport Console.

  • You are familiar with the TMS system in which you want to attach non-ABAP objects to the transport request and the connection data to the related communication system.

Procedure

  1. Start the Command Line Tool.

  2. Connect to the CTS communication system.

  3. Select the relevant transport system in TMS and log on with your user name and password.

  4. Attach the file you require to the preselected transport request.

    Note

    If you set the parameter WBO_GET_REQ_STRATEGY to the value Tagged when configuring your source system, then you have to select a transport request before attaching the file.

  5. Release the transport request, if necessary.

    Note

    It is only released if you set the parameter WBO_REL_REQ_STRATEGY to the value Auto when configuring your target system.
