Procedure documentation Create Test Package with 'Test Case Status' Filters  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

When you create a test package, you can only use test packages to which you have assigned a test status. This is for example useful if you want to create a test package containing only test cases with the status ‚fail‘.

Procedure

  1. Call test plan management via Tools ABAP Workbench Test Test Workbench Test Organizer Manage Test Plan from the SAP menu.
  2. Choose a test plan and the Create Test Package pushbutton.
  3. Go to the structure display of the test plan from which you want to generate a test package.

  4. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  5. Enter a short description for the test package in the following dialog box.
  6. Mark the subareas which are relevant for the test package, in the following display.
  7. Choose the Test Case Status pushbutton.

The system displays an overview of all test cases in the test plan. The test case status of all test cases is displayed.

  1. Mark the Status column and choose the Filter pushbutton.
  2. Choose a status and choose Execute in the following dialog box.
  3. Only test cases with the specified status are displayed.

  4. Choose test cases and the Copy Selection pushbutton.

You go back to the test plan display where you can select or discard other test cases as required.

Result

The new test package is displayed in the test plan hierarchy. You can assign the test package to a tester.
