In the request editor, you can use the object list to edit one or more table lines in a specified table. You first specify the table (tabu) or a generic transport object (tdat, vdat, cdat), and then edit the individual key fields.
You do not normally need to specify table keys manually, since the Transport Organizer automatically records the correct table entries when you make changes.
You have chosen the Objects tab page in the request editor and have the authorization to edit the object list.
To specify the keys of a table or generic transport object, proceed as follows:
Generic transport objects have additional fields in the key editor, which you can also specify. However, you do not normally need to do this.
If the key ends with an asterisk (*), all keys that match up to the asterisk are specified. If the key description contains more than one asterisk, the initial asterisks are interpreted as characters.
000Dabc* specifies all keys that start with 000Dabc.
000Dabc** specifies all keys that start with 000Dabc*.
To change the keys of tables or generic transport objects that are already in the object list, proceed as follows:
The key list editor for the object appears. The fields needed to specify the key of the object appear. The table key is a concatenated version of the key elements.
You have specified or changed one or more table lines at the key level.
