Use

An input-enabled SAP List Viewer (ALV) makes it possible to create and change table data.

Integration

In contrast to a simple SAP List Viewer, an input-enabled SAP List Viewer is enhanced with those functions that are required to enter and change data.

Prerequisites

Input-enabled SAP List Viewers can appear very differently in the different application areas. An input-enabled SAP List Viewer can either be input-enabled in all parts or only in selected parts.

Cells, rows, or columns

that are input-enabled can be recognized by the light background color

that are not input-enabled can be recognized by the grey background color

Features

An SAP List Viewer offers a series of functions in additional pushbuttons as standard.

Note

Depending on the application area

-         The additional pushbuttons can be hidden (using This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Change/Display)

-         The functions can be changed

This documentation explains how you can create and change data in an input-enabled SAP List Viewer using the pushbuttons that are available as standard:

Enter data, check data, refresh data, and undo entries (as required)

See Editing Data and Checking Entries

Cut, copy, or paste cells, rows, or columns

See Editing Cells, Rows, Columns

Attach, insert, delete, and duplicate rows

See Further Options for Editing Rows
