By specifying the planning and reporting level for expected effort in the test plan attributes, you determine the result of your filtering by business process hierarchy nodes. If your planning level is at test package level, for example, the expected effort can only be aggregated at this level or at the higher level. Below this level, for example at test case level, the expected test effort cannot be broken down further due to missing granularity. As a result, the expected effort for test packages is automatically propagated to the test case level.
