You can use the reports about the performance of scenarios to centrally display the performance of the End-User Experience Monitoring (EEM) at the level of scenarios, scripts, robots, and steps.
The performance values are based on the response times of the individual steps of the script runs that were performed on the relevant host by the respective SMD agent and sent to the SAP Solution Manager system.
There are threshold values (green to yellow and yellow to red) for the response time of each step in a script, which means that you can determine for scripts, scenarios, and robots what percentage of the associated executed steps have the status green, yellow, and red. The performance reports display this percentage, along with other information.
In the context of interactive reporting, there are four reports available to give you a quick overview of the development of these performance values over time:
Performance of Scenarios (
)The report outputs the performance of the chosen EEM scenario. The proportion of executed steps in the EEM of the chosen scenario is output. Depending on the response time, this number can have the status green, yellow or red. The higher the percentage of steps in the green status, the better the performance of the scenario.
The average script runtime within the scenario is also output in the table view.
Performance of Scripts (
)The report outputs the performance of the scripts of the selected scenario, whereby the Script
drop-down list gives you the option to cause the values of a selected script or the values of all scripts of the scenario to be output. Performance on the script level is also judged according to the proportion of the associated script steps that have good performance (status green) or at least have average performance (status yellow or green). For this, choose the entry Green
or Green + yellow
in the drop-down list Display percentage of steps with status
. In addition, the absolute number of script steps is output in the table view. Depending on the response time, this number can have the status green, yellow and red.
The average execution time of the scripts is also output.
You can also filter the output performance values on robots, that is, only the performance values that were determined for certain SMD agents are output. This gives you the option to only display the values of certain hosts.
Performance of Robots (
)The report outputs the performance of the selected scenario subject to a variety of criteria. You can display, group and filter the output performance values according to the following criteria:
Script
Country
and city
, that is, information about the location of the host on which the values of the EEM were determined
Attribut. 1
, that is, another generic attribute
Robot
, that is, the SMD agent and hence the host on which the values of the EEM were determined
Note
For the display of the data, note the following points:
Select the desired entry in the drop-down list Group by
in order to display the separate curves or values in the table for each of the various values of this criterion (the various countries in which the data was determined, for example).
Select the desired entry in the Filter by
area in order to restrict the data to be displayed to the desired value of a criterion.
Expand the Navigation
area and select the desired entries there if you want to group your data according to several criteria. For optimal display in the graphic, choose the Drilldown in the Columns
button for the desired criteria; for optimal display in the table view, choose the Drilldown in the Rows
button for the desired criteria.
Performance is also judged according to the proportion of the associated script steps that have good performance (status green) or at least have average performance (status yellow or green). For this, choose the entry Green
or Green + yellow
in the drop-down list Display percentage of steps with status
. In addition, the absolute number of script steps is output in the table view. Depending on the response time, this number can have the status green, yellow and red.
The average execution time of the scripts is also output.
Performance of Scripts (
)This report displays the performance of scripts of the selected scenario at step level; you can select the desired script and the desired step using a dropdown list. The following information is displayed:
Average response time per step execution
Number of step executions in the selected period
Number of step executions with status yellow and red, that is, the step executions for which the response times are outside the relevant threshold value.
Note
You can filter the displayed performance values using the same criteria as in the Performance of Robots
report described above.
