Editing the Object ListLocate this document in the navigation structure

The Objects tab page contains a list of the objects that are included in the request or task.

You can edit the object list directly. You can

  • Include objects in a request manually
  • Lock objects in tasks and requests
  • Delete objects from tasks and requests
  • Display the object directory entry for objects
  • Display a where-used list for objects
  • Call up the version management for objects
  • Restrict the display of objects, using filters

You can double-click an object to reach its editor. In this editor, you can immediately continue to process this object.

In this way, you can also navigate to the keys of tables and generic transport objects and edit these keys.

You can double-click a logical transport object to see a simulation of the table key, according to the definition of the logical object in transaction SOBJ.

    Note

To edit the object list manually requires basic knowledge about the syntax of the entries. Entering a large amount of objects is also a laborious task.

To place objects in a request more easily, use the functions described under Including Objects in a Request.
