Quality
The Quality
view provides detailed information about the quality of your custom code objects. You display the results of ABAP Test Client (ATC) runs and the open exemptions created for the results over a certain period of time. In your managed systems, you schedule ATC runs as background jobs. The results of these ATC runs are replicated in the Business Warehouse (BW) system using the defined extractors. You can then retrieve ATC data from the BW system and display the data in ATC Monitoring for analysis.
On your managed systems, an ATC administrator has configured ATC runs by creating run series and run variants (transactions SCI
and ATC
).
You have connected the BW system as part of SAP Solution Manager Configuration.
You have activated the extractors for ATC results and ATC exemptions in the Custom Code Management scenario of SAP Solution Manager Configuration.
To display ATC Monitoring, you have the display role assigned. You are not able to validate and reject open exemptions.
To validate and reject open exemptions in ATC Monitoring, the following prerequisites apply:
The administrator role is assigned to your user (authorization object SM_ATC_APP
).
In the connected managed systems, your user exists with the same name.
Object Selection Criteria
You define the time period for which you want to display the results or the exemptions.
For more detailed information about certain kinds of errors, you can choose an ATC run series of an ATC check variant you have defined in the managed system. For example, you can define special ATC runs gathering performance-related errors or security-related errors.
Results
On the Results
tab, you choose the system for which you want to display the ATC results in the Analysis Completed Systems
area.
The History
area shows the graphical representation of the results for the selected time period.
The ATC Results
area lists all ATC runs for the selected time period. To display the results related to one ATC run, select the corresponding line and choose Show Details
.
Exemptions
On the Exemptions
tab, in the Analysis Completed Systems
area, you select the system for which you want to display the open exemptions.
The History
area shows the graphical representation of the results for the selected time period.
The Exemptions List
area shows the open exemptions. To display further information about one open exemption at a time and the reason for it, choose Show Details
.
If you are assigned the administration role and you have a user in the affected managed systems, you can validate or reject open exemptions:
If you have checked the details of an open exemption and accept it, you can validate the open exemption. The open exemption and the related ATC result are no longer displayed in ATC Monitoring after the next ATC run.
If you have checked the details of the open exemption and do not accept it, you can reject the open exemption. The open exemption is no longer displayed in ATC Monitoring after the next ATC run. The related ATC result will still appear in ATC Monitoring.
Note
You can select more than one exemption from the list and validate or reject multiple exemptions at the same time.
