You can lock those structure nodes for which you have completed the processing, in the project structure. You can, for example, prevent a project participant changing parts of the project structure later.
To protect data security and the integrity of the data, you can use a digital signature to identify the user who locked it.
To link locking structure nodes with a digital signature, you have made the settings in SAP Solution Manager Customizing, under .
To use the digital signature to lock structure nodes, choose the Project Structure
type.
To lock a structure node, right-click it in the project structure and choose Lock Structure
in the context menu.
The selected node and all its subnodes are then locked for editing. If, for example, you lock a scenario, its processes and process steps are locked.
Note
If you lock a structure node, you can only not edit the structure. You can still edit its tabs.
To unlock a structure node, right-click it in the project structure and choose Unlock
in the context menu.
