Starting Transport Organizer Web UI
Log on to the SAP system client with the user and password that you want to use to start Transport Organizer.
To start Transport Management System (TMS), call transaction STMS.
Choose .
This starts Transport Organizer Web UI for the client that was defined in the TMS parameter NON_ABAP_WBO_CLIENT.
In the System dialog box, enter the system ID of the system for which you want to organize your transport request. This is usually the development system. You can use the input help to choose a system.
For closely coupled applications, you can start the Web UI directly from the application. For more information, see the online documentation for the relevant application.
Optional: Adding Transport Organizer Web UI to your favorites in the SAP Easy Access user menu
In SAP Easy Access user menu, choose .
The Web Dynpro Application dialog box is displayed.
Enter CTS_BROWSER in the Web Dynpro Application field.
Specify a description of the favorite.
If you frequently manage transport requests in the same system then you can create an entry with the system ID of your source system. Enter the system ID of your source system as the description, enter the parameter name SYSID in the Parameter area, and the system ID of your non-ABAP system as the value.
Select the Protocol depending on the security guidelines of your company and then leave Browser unchanged as the default for Client.
Optional: In the Parameter area you can specify URL parameters with which the Transport Organizer Web UI is to be called. Using the input help select the required parameters and enter a parameter value. The following parameters are available:
SYSID: You can use this parameter to create a favorite for Transport Organizer Web UI in your SAP Easy Access user menu for each of the non-ABAP systems in which you want to create and organize transport requests.
APPLICATION: You can use this parameter to define the default SAP application type used when you attach objects to your transport request. If you always work with a certain application, setting this parameter stops you from having to select the application every time.
To determine the possible values, in Transport Organizer Web UI select the Object List tab page and then Attach for a transport request. You can use all SAP applications in the Application selection list as parameter values.
SOURCE: You can use this parameter to define the default file system (server or client) used when you attach objects to your transport request. If you always work with a certain file system, setting this parameter stops you from having to select the file system every time.
Possible values:
Server: The Server file system is the default. You can still select Client using the radio buttons.
Server_only: You can only upload from a Server file system. You cannot select Client.
Client: The Client file system is the default. You can still select Server using the radio buttons.
Client_only: You can only upload from a Client file system. You cannot select Server.
To start the Transport Organizer Web UI, select the favorite you just created in your favorites folder with a double-click.
Save the URL for Transport Organizer Web UI in your browser favorites as well. In this way, you are always able to start the UI from your browser. Your configured parameters appear as part of the URL and can also be changed there.
