Prerequisites

You must

  • have administration authorization in the Change and Transport System
  • be logged on to the domain controller (the appropriate information is distributed to the whole domain when you save).
Procedure

To display or maintain the critical transport objects defined for the relevant domain:

  1. Call transaction STMS.
  2. Choose . The import overview appears.
  3. Choose Start of the navigation path Extras Next navigation step Critical Transport Objects End of the navigation path.
  4. To define transport objects as critical, choose Start of the navigation path Table View Next navigation step Display Next navigation step Change End of the navigation path.
  5. Confirm the information.
  6. To insert new objects, choose New Entries.

Only objects of the form R3TR <object type> <object name> are checked as transport objects. Transport objects that start with LIMU are subobjects of a Repository object with an object directory entry. To check these, you must find out the object directory entry, and enter it in the table of critical objects.

    Example
    • You want to prevent data being transported from the user table ZUSER23. You must enter the following as a critical object with an active flag set: R3TR TABU ZUSER23.
    • You want to prevent the function module ZZ_MY_FUNCTION being transported. Use the Function Builder to find out the object directory entry as R3TR FUGR ZZ_MY_GROUP. You must enter this value with the active flag set.
  7. After you have finished, save your entries.
Result

You have defined the objects critical for the import for this domain.
