Request OverviewLocate this document in the navigation structure

You can directly access the request overview of the Transport Organizer from all ABAP Workbench transactions by choosing Start of the navigation path Environment Next navigation step Transport Organizer (Requests) End of the navigation path. From the Customizing transactions, you can access the request overview by choosing Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Transport Organizer (Requests) End of the navigation path.

You can access the request overview of the extended view of the Transport Organizer from the initial screens of Transaction SE01 by choosing Display.

The requests are grouped and displayed under a hierarchy of sort nodes, corresponding to the following request attributes:

  • Source system
  • Source client
  • Transport target
  • Request owner
  • Request type
  • Order status
  • Project

In the Transport Organizer, only the levels project, request type, and request status are normally active.

Changing the Display Hierarchy

If the hierarchy selected by the SAP System does not suit your requirements, you can change the setting as follows:

  • Temporary setting

By choosing Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Sort Sequence End of the navigation path, you can add or remove sort levels, or change their hierarchy.

  • Permanent setting

By choosing Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Settings End of the navigation path, you can choose the following permanent settings:

    • Display short texts of tasks
    • Display change date of requests
    • Sort by request owner

The objects contained in the requests and tasks are displayed below them, sorted by object type. Double-click an object to access the editor for displaying or editing the object.

Placing the Cursor on the Logon Client

If you have created a large number of requests, the request list can become so long that you need to scroll down to the client in which you are logged on.

To have the cursor immediately placed on the logon client's node when you open the list, you need to set a specific user value in the user menu. Proceed as follows:

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path User Profile Next navigation step Own Data Next navigation step Parameters tab End of the navigation path.
  2. Enter the parameter SET_LIST_POS and set the value CLIENT. Note that this value is case-sensitive.

If the parameter is not available in your release, see SAP Note 1586846 Information published on SAP site.
