Library Definitions
The Library Definition
view provides an overview of active and inactive libraries. A library definition is a collection of objects, attributes, and relationships between objects and attributes. Some objects can also be attributes of another object in the form of a reference. Only one library can be active at any given time.
The Details of Library
screen area displays more information about the selected library definition and contains the following tab pages:
Object
contains basic information about the objects in the selected definition. The Maintainable
column indicates which objects you can create, change, and delete in the Objects
view.
Attributes
displays information about the attributes, for example, Cardinality
indicates how many times an attribute can be assigned to an object. Reference
indicates whether an object is an attribute of another object in the form of a reference.
Objects and Assigned Attributes
displays information about which attributes are assigned to which objects and other information, for example, whether search help is available or whether an attribute is mandatory for the object.
Note
The Created at
and Time
columns refer to when the object was added to the library; they do not refer to when the object was first created.
A library definition is configured and set as the active library during the technical implementation.
