Function documentationReport: Change Request Management

You can evaluate requests for change and change documents by various criteria and display the results in an overview.

  • To be able to choose and display transport objects, you have to activate the object reporting service. You do this in Customizing by choosing Start of the navigation path SAP Solution Manager Next navigation step Capabilities Next navigation step Change Control Management Next navigation step Change Request Management Framework Next navigation step Configure Change Request Management Reporting Service End of the navigation path.

  • To save transport object information in the central SAP Solution Manager system, you must ensure that your database has sufficient capacity. We recommend that you use database monitoring tools to monitor your database capacity on a regular basis.

  • You have scheduled the Change Request Management data collector to run once an hour.

    Note Note

The collector can only run once the last run has been completed. The date and time of the last data collector run are shown in the report under Status of Data. If the data collector is not running in a particular system (due to system downtime, for example), this system is displayed as below the date and time display as a discrepant system. You can update the information about the managed systems by choosing Refresh All Systems. The discrepant systems disappear when you update the display.

    End of the note.
