Deleting Collection Assignments for a Translator 

Use

This function enables you to cancel the assignment of specific collections, or all collections, to a translator.

Prerequisites

·        A user with coordinator status has already assigned collections to the translator in question.

·        Your translator profile has authorization object USCO with the value 02.

Procedure

The exact procedure depends on whether you have been defined as a translation coordinator for specific languages or all languages, and whether you want to delete the collection assignments of one or several translators.

Delete collection assignments of one translator

...

       1.      Call transaction LXE_MASTER.

       2.      On the Translators tab page, choose Collections.

       3.      In the Translators (Language, Translator) dialog box that now appears, expand the target language of the translator whose collection assignments need deleting, and select the name of the translator.

This takes you to the Translators dialog box. The collections assigned to the translator are displayed.

       4.      Select the collections you want to delete, and choose the Delete icon.

If you choose the Select Collections icon, your authorizations determine whether a tree structure is displayed listing the collections assigned to the translator, or the Collections (Restricted Basis) dialog box. At this point, you can display more information on the collections.

Delete collection assignments of several translators

...

       1.      Call transaction LXE_MASTER.

       2.      On the Translators tab page, choose Delete Collctn.

The Collections dialog box appears.

       3.      Select the collections whose assignments to translators need to be deleted.

       4.      Choose Continue.

       5.      Select the translators to whom the collections should not be assigned any longer.

       6.      Save.

A confirmation prompt appears, informing you of how many collections you are about to delete for how many translators for how many languages.

       7.      Confirm the prompt.

Result

The collections you selected are not assigned to the translator any longer. The translator can no longer call the collections up in his or her personal worklist for the selected language.
