Headerless Navigation
You can determine where and how content is displayed during portal navigation by configuring the Launch in New Window property in iViews and pages. One of the options is to open a separate headerless portal window. In this headerless page, you can perform the tasks that the displayed application allows, and then return to the main page, without navigating away from the page.
The headerless window provides a navigation panel, but not the page title bar nor any of the navigation elements in the header area. Although the navigation panel does not contain a Detailed Navigation iView, it can display related links and dynamic navigation.
Two headerless framework pages are provided with the portal. In the one, the Isolation Method property of the Desktop Innerpage is set to URL and in the other, it is set to Embedded. The Isolation Method property determines the way in which iViews and pages are encoded within a page.

Headerless navigation is implemented in the headerless framework page.
Currently the headerless navigation mode is available only to iViews and pages.
