Portal clients using third-party popup blockers in your browser, such as those available in browser plug-ins or toolbars, can interfere with portal functionality. For example, some browser windows might open up to terminate a portal session as a result of logging off or closing a window—preventing these browser windows from opening up will cause the session termination to fail.

If portal clients are running such software, you must ensure that the portal server URLs and hostnames are added to the whitelist of the popup blocker application on each client. We also recommend that you test overall portal functionality with the popup blocker applications that are used in your environment.
