Activate namespaces

Turns on the naming conventions feature. When activated, administrators can no longer enter any string for the ID prefix of objects, but must select an ID prefix from a list.

Valid values are true and false (default).

Mode

Specifies whether prefixes are based on the user or on the PCD path of the object.

Valid values are user or path (default).

XML file (for user mode only)

Specifies the XML file that defines which users have access to which prefixes. The file path is relative to root\portalapps\ com.sap.portal.namingconventions\xml.

The default XML file is default.xml.

Handler ID

The default handler is default.
