  • Retrieving the default alias of the system

  • Checking the connection, using the connector defined in the system

System Connection Test - ITS Connection

This test checks the connection to an SAP Internet Transaction Server and consists of:

  • Checking that the system object defines an SAP system

  • Validating the following parameters: wap.ITS.path; wap.ITS.protocol; wap.ITS.hostname

  • Checking the HTTP/S connection to the defined back-end application

System Connection Test - WAS Connection

  • Checking that the system object defines an SAP system

  • Validating the following parameters: wap.WAS.protocol; wap.WAS.hostname

  • Checking the HTTP/S connection to the defined back-end application

Performing the Tests

  2. In the Portal Catalog right-click the system and choose   Open   Connection Tests  .

  3. In the System Connection Tests tool interface, select the tests you want to perform and click Test.
