  Maintenance Settings

Usage

You can define the period during which tasks are to be processed, sessions and service definitions refreshed, or log entries deleted.

You can also define how often and at which intervals a task will be repeated if it fails.

Procedure

To change the maintenance settings of the Service Data Control Center:

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Settings Next navigation step Task-Specific End of the navigation path.

    A hierarchy of the task-specific settings is displayed.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Task-Specific Settings Next navigation step Collect Session Data Next navigation step Maintenance Next navigation step Settings End of the navigation path.

  3. To display the maintenance settings, click on Settings.

    A dialog box shows the following maintenance settings: General, Refresh Session List, Update Service Definitions and Delete Data.

  4. To change the settings, choose Display <-> Change.

    The settings are described below.

  5. To save your changes, choose Continue.

General

Settings for tasks relevant to the Service Data Control Center.

You can restrict the time period in which tasks can be processed. The task processor job does not process any tasks outside the specified period.

Activate extended log: By default, the extended log is not active. Only activate the extended log if you need to perform a detailed error analysis.

Refresh Sessions

You can specify how often the list of sessions is refreshed.

You can define a period in which to check for new sessions. For example, you can only check for sessions scheduled for the last 21 days and the next 21 days.

You can define the number of repeat attempts in the event of an error occurring while the task is being processed. You can also define the delay between each repeat attempt.

Service Definitions

he service definitions determine which data the Get Session Data and Add-On tasks get for a session.

You can specify how often service definitions are refreshed. This should be every 7 days.

Delete Data

Settings for the Delete Old Session and Log Data task:

Delete SDCC logs older than: All Service Data Control Center logs older than the specified number of days will be deleted.

Delete session data older than: All Service Data Control Center session data older than the specified number of days will be deleted.

When session data is deleted, the associated Service Data Control Center tasks are also deleted.
