Files for SSL Support 

To support SSL on the client, you need some additional files. These files are contained in the SAP-MI-SSL-PACK.car software package. For more information on where these files are stored in the SAP Service Marketplace, see SAP Note 397175. This note also contains important information about export regulations.

The operating system used on the mobile device, and on the JDK/JRE version determines which files you require from the SAP-MI-SSL-PACK.car package.

System and JDK/JRE Version	Files Required
Win32 and JDK/JRE 1.5.x	No additional files required.
Win32 and JDK/JRE 1.4.x	No additional files required.
Win32 and JDK/JRE 1.3.x (only supported if you upgraded the MI client from a release earlier than NW 7.0 SPS 12)	You need the files jsse.jar, jcert.jar and jnet.jar. Use the uncompressed variant of the client setup and add the required files to the …\SAP Mobile Infrastructure\Ext2\lib directory. For more information, see Preconfiguring on Windows32 Platforms.
Windows Mobile	You need the file JSSE-1-0-3_01.CAB. Deploy this file to the mobile device together with the MI client.
