Adding a Change Request to the Import QueueLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

Sometimes you have to place a transport request in a queue when the transport request is no longer contained in any other queue or its data was manually copied to the transport directory.

Procedure

To manually place a request in a queue:

  1. Call transaction STMS.
  2. Choose . The Import Overview appears.
  3. Position the cursor on the SAP system in whose import queue you want to place the request.
  4. Choose . The import queue of the selected SAP system appears.
  5. Choose Start of the navigation path Extras Next navigation step Other Requests Next navigation step Add End of the navigation path. The Add Transport Request to Import Queue dialog box appears.
  6. Enter the number of a request or use the F4 help to select a request.
    Note

The F4 help lists all transport requests that exist in the transport directory. You can restrict the request selection generically (for example, by entering DEVK*). This improves the performance of the F4 help.

  7. If you have activated Extended Transport Control, then you also have to enter the target client for which you want to flag the request for import.
  8. Choose Continue.
  9. Confirm the prompt.
Result

The request was added to the import queue.
