You must connect the TREX server to the Application Server Java (AS Java) on which CAF has been deployed.
1. Log on to the CAF AS Java Visual Administrator tool.
2. Go to Services → TREX Service.
3. In the Properties tab page, update the following values:

If you do not know the port where the nameserver is running, you can retrieve it as follows:
¡ Start the SAP Management Console on the machine where TREX is installed and running.
¡ Go to SAP Systems → <instance name> → Current Status → Name-Server.
¡ The property .listenport contains the port number of the nameserver that is being listened to.
4. Choose Update, then Save.
5. To restart the TREX service, choose Stop, then with the secondary mouse button, choose Start.
