Procedure documentation Configuring CAF Repository Managers  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You use the CAF repository manager to access metadata files and other data records that are created or delivered with CAF. You use the repository manager to carry out basic operations like reading, copying or deleting files within a repository.

By using the repository manager in CAF, you can search for and index different types of data storages, such as directories or databases that are persisted in KM. Metadata texts are indexed and created in KM and are automatically updated when the data is modified.

In order to integrate your own data sources with the KM, you have to first configure the CAF repository manager.
