Activating the Synchronization Service and Protocol

To use the synchronization service and the monitors, the client must be configured correctly using the parameters in the MobileEngine.config file.

Set the following parameters in the MobileEngine.config file:

MobileEngine.Sync.Gateway.Service=/sap/bc/MJC/mi_host

MI.Sync.ProtocolVersion=251500

You can set this parameter in various ways (see Configuration of Mobile Devices). If you want to configure one mobile device only, you can edit the MobileEngine.config file directly on the device (see Editing the MobileEngine.config File).
