Consuming Content as Remote Delta
Links
In remote delta link mode, a content administrator on a NetWeaver consumer portal browses the Portal Catalog of a remote NetWeaver producer portal and creates remote delta links to relevant iViews, pages, worksets, and roles.
Once the remote objects have been created locally as remote delta link copies on the consumer portal, a content administrator manages this content in the same manner as locally created content.
...
The content administrator of the consumer portal can do any of the following:
· Create local unit objects on the consumer based on remote objects (iViews, pages, worksets, and roles) from the producer, and then assign the unit objects to local pages, worksets, and roles.
· Add remote objects (iViews, pages, and worksets) from the producer directly to local pages, worksets, and roles on the consumer without first creating local unit objects on the consumer.
Alternatively, a system administrator can create remote delta links on the consumer using an XML script. More information: Using XML to Automate FPN Tasks
