Displaying General Translation Statistics 

Use

You can display the translation status of individual worklists.

Prerequisites

The iView for checking the translation statistics cannot be called from the Portal Catalog or administration role at the moment.

You therefore have to use the procedure described below to add the iView to the administration role in order to check the translation statistics.

Procedure

       1.      Choose Content Administration → Portal Content and click on a folder in the Portal Catalog with the secondary mouse button.

       2.      In the Portal Catalog, choose New  → iView.

       3.      In the iView Wizard, select Portal component and click Next.

       4.      Select the portal archive com.sap.portal.pcd.admintools.translation and click Next.

       5.      Select statistics and choose Next.

       6.      In the General Properties page, enter the appropriate values: iView name, ID, etc., and choose Next.

       7.      Check your settings in the Summary page and choose Finish.

The iView is generated.

       8.      Add this iView to the role intended for the administrator coordinating translation.

The following functions are available in this iView:

·        Search for a worklist by entering an ID, or you can perform a generic search

·        Select a worklist to display the following data:

¡        Status of worklist

¡        Last changed by

¡        Last changed at

¡        Details about the translation statistics (how many strings in a worklist were already translated and how many were not)
