This web template gives you an overview of the test effort, and whether the planned test effort is sufficient, or exceeded. This is shown in the diagram by the green (currently planned) and red (exceed plan) areas. You can analyze the relationship between planned, actual and expected total effort, at various times.
You have selected the BW report in the Test Management
work center, in the Test Reports
or Reports
view.
This web template shows the test effort from the following perspectives:
Distribution of test cases by status, with the planned and actual test effort through time
You can relate the distribution of the test cases by status to the planned and actual effort, and the expected total effort.
Total effort
You choose a level of expansion as the filter level to show the test effort by test plan, test package, tester, or business process hierarchy node.
To drill down by tester, ensure that the testers are assigned to individual test cases. See Assigning Testers at Test Case Level for further information.
You can change the display of the test effort, by adding attributes as expansions of the axes. You can also filter the display by attribute values.
