Moving the Domain Controller to Another SAP SystemLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

Because you can only move the transport domain controller as long as it is functioning, you must always configure a backup domain controller.

Procedure

To move the domain controller to another SAP System:

  1. Configure the SAP System you want to use as the new domain controller as the backup domain controller.
  2. Activate the previous domain controller as the backup domain controller.
Result

The previous domain controller becomes the backup domain controller. The SAP System that you configured as the backup domain controller becomes the new domain controller.
