Job and Process Monitoring, Record Instance Metrics

DataStore object: 0SMJPMSM1

This DataStore object is used in Job and Process Monitoring in SAP Solution Manager. This application monitors all the business-critical background jobs, such as ABAP jobs and BW process chains, centrally. One or more jobs, which, for example, satisfy a specified naming convention, are the monitored objects.

The DSO contains the measured metrics for the monitored objects. This DSO belongs to a pair with the DSO J0SMJPMSM2, into which data is written alternately. The DSOs are supplied via the Monitoring and Alerting Infrastructure Data Provider Connector (DPC).

The following DSOs contain further raw data for the monitored objects:

0SMJPMSH1/0SMJPMSH2 contain the attributes, such as start or end time.
0SMJPMSDF contains the run-independent master data for the monitored objects.

These DSOs contain the raw data for the runs and executions of the monitored objects, for reporting. After the runs, the job JPM_DATA_AGGREGATION aggregates the data and writes it into the following DSOs:
