Drag&Relate with SAP ERP Systems 

A SAP NetWeaver Portal user can see all the portal contents, irrespective of their type and origin. The unification feature of the portal, including relation resolving and Drag&Relate technology links information from different sources.

With the proper setup procedures in the SAP ERP system, portal users are able to view object from that system. Portal unification permits the users not only to see the contents of an SAP ERP system, but also:

·        to view relations between the objects

·        to create new relations between the objects and object of other systems

·        to link them to contents in the Web or to objects in other systems using Drag&Relate technology.

In the portal, these actions are launched from iViews and the results returned are displayed in iViews.
