Example for a Global Rollout with a Template

Prerequisites

The subsidiaries of a company include banks and insurance companies.

Process Flow

  1. The head office creates the templates ZBANK and ZINS in its template project, and assigns them to the following scenarios:

Template project in the head office

    • Customer Service Classic Banking (ZBANK)

    • Customer Service Insurances (ZINS)

    • Field Service and Dispatching (ZINS)

    • Sales Planning Classic Banking (ZBANK)

    • Sales Planning Insurances (ZINS)

    • MSS: Salary Adaption Planning (ZBANK, ZINS)

The scenario MSS: Salary Adaption Planning is to be implemented identically in all subsidiaries, so both templates are assigned to this scenario.

  2. The templates and their objects, e.g. BC Sets and test cases, are imported into the subsidiaries’ systems.

  3. The subsidiaries choose the scenarios relevant for them, in their implementation projects, and assign the template which they received from the head office, to it:
