You use Test Workbench BI Reporting to create detailed queries for the status of BI-relevant test plans within a specific period. The Test Workbench BI Reporting uses the latest data, which is extracted regularly from the SAP Solution Manager system. You can also control the graphical and tabular formatting of information by combining queries, which enables you to analyze large test plans. The analysis is based on the test plan structure, which is a collection of test cases according to the business process hierarchy defined for a project or solution.
The test plan analyses provide the following information:
Status of selected test plans over a period
Results of test cases assigned to selected test plans
Status and priority of messages about test cases in selected test plans
Actual and planned test effort required for test plans over a period
Note
You can filter the status information display by business process hierarchy attributes or the change impact analysis result ID from the Business Process Change Analyzer.

Test Workbench Reporting Data Flow
The data flows as follows:
The test plan and message data is extracted periodically from the SAP Solution Manager system. It contains the following data types:
Attribute values of business process hierarchy nodes, which are, for example, maintained to document business processes in the business blueprint
Change impact analysis result IDs from the Business Process Change Analyzer on which test plans with test cases for modified transactions are based
Test effort for test plans, test packages, and test cases
Status and properties of messages (e.g. component, processor)
Status of execution and properties of test cases, particularly their assignment to test packages and test plans
Each time any data of one of these data types is updated during test case execution or message processing, a new processing state is created.
The data is stored in separate DataStore objects. DataStore object 0SM_TWBDB
is a buffer before data is saved in the associated InfoCube periodically, for aggegation, and to ensure data consistency.
The InfoSets combine the information from the various data sources. InfoSet 0SM_TWBBF
connects current data states, whereas InfoSet 0SM_TWBS
reflects different data states over time.
The MultiProvider contains all information in the underlying data sources, and is the central point of access for queries.
Calling a WebTemplate in the Test Management
work center, starts the embedded queries.
