This section contains the recommended configuration procedures after you set up and configure the J2EE Engine cluster.
The cluster is configured properly. See Configuring the J2EE Engine Cluster.
● Post-Installation Procedures – describes how you set up some additional security options, and so on.
● Configuring the necessary communication ports – when you install a Java instance or create an additional server process, the J2EE Engine assigns default values to the communication ports. In case some of these ports are being used by another program, you will have to manually assign a different value to the corresponding port. For more information about the J2EE Engine ports and their default values, see J2EE Engine Ports.
● Configuring security – apart from the steps described in the Post-Installation Procedures section, you may also need to configure some additional aspects of the server’s security environment. For more information about the specific security configuration that is relevant for your scenario, see:
