  System Monitoring Setup

Use

You want to specify which CCMS alerts are displayed in the SAP Solution Manager alert graphic.

Activities

  1. Call the SAP Solution Manager Administration work center.

  2. In the Solutions view , choose the Operations Setup tab page .

  3. Choose System Monitoring and follow the Setup System Monitoring link .

    You go to an overview screen, from which you can go to the system monitoring set-up in change mode, and call Best Practice documents.

  4. Choose Set-Up System Monitoring.

    You go to Change Mode: Solution Monitoring .

  5. Perform the following checks in change mode:

    1. Select Active Systems

    2. Check CCMS Connectivity

    3. Copy Default Settings

    4. Perform System-Specific and System Component-Specific Checks

    5. Insert Additional Hardware Components (optional)

    6. Insert Additional Software Components (optional)
