Procedure documentationRegistering a Partner Test Management Tool

 

You have to register a partner test management tool for the Business Process Change Analyzer to be able to evaluate the test case types, test case attributes and attribute values supported by that tool.

Procedure

  1. In the Test Management work center, open the Administration view.

  2. Choose Register Test Management Tool from Third Party for BPCA.

  3. Add a new entry and enter the name and a description for the partner test management tool.

  4. Use the input help to select the logical port created in the configuration for the partner test management tool.

  5. Save.

    You can check the connection to the partner test management tool using the Ping pushbutton.

    Choose Register Again to once again carry out all the communication steps that took place with the partner test management tool during registration. This is useful if new test case types or new test case attributes have been added to the partner test management tool.

Result

The Business Process Change Analyzer now recognizes the test case types, test case attributes and attribute values currently used by the partner tool.
