Create Test Catalog 

Use

You can create test catalogs to save test cäses in an ordered hierarchy structure. You can base test plans on test catalogs.

Go to the test catalog maintenance initial screen with Tools → ABAP Workbench → Test → Test Workbench → Test Organizer → Manage Test Catalog

Choose .

Enter the following data in the attribute screen.

a test catalog title

the person responsible

an application component ID

This puts the test catalog in the Application hierarchy.

Save the test catalog attributes.

Enter the package (development class) in the following dialog box.

If you have chosen a transportable package you are prompted to specify a transport request.

The package (development class) and the transport request are also used for all other objects in the newly-created catalog.

Go to test catalog structure maintenance with .

Edit the test catalog structure and save it before leaving the structure with Back.

Result

You return to the test catalog maintenance initial screen. The new test catalog is in your Favorites list.

You can now:

·        display, change, copy or check test catalogs

·        display or change test catalog attributes

·        View the application component hierarchy in the library and check which test catalogs it contains.
