Use

You can subsequently assign objects you have collected for transport to a different package (development class).

This function is normally not necessary. You can use this function when you want to restructure the development classes (packages) of your objects, or when wanting to use packages (development classes) with different transport targets.

Procedure

The Data Warehousing Workbench: Transport Connection screen is displayed.

Changing the assignment of a large number of collected objects

       1.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Package in the toolbar of screen area Collected Objects.

The Select Objects for Changing Development Classes dialog box appears.

       2.      Select the objects whose development class (package) assignment you want to change.

Recommendation

This procedure is especially useful for changing all collected objects, or a large number of them. For this reason, all indicators are set by default. Remove the indicators for individual objects where necessary.

       3.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Copy. The Change Object Directory Entry dialog box appears.

       4.      Enter the new development class (package).

       1.      Select an object in the Collected Objects screen area.

       2.      In the context menu of the object, choose Change Package. The Change Object Directory Entry dialog box appears.

       3.      Enter the new development class (package).
