Maintaining the Validity Period
Prerequisites
The user-specific change to the validity table can be carried out only after the corresponding InfoCube has been activated with a Release status of 2.0B (or higher).
Procedure
The minimum and maximum loaded values of the time reference characteristic (for every feature of the validity table) are used as standard as a threshold for the validity period toolbar. You can change the validity of the individual characteristic values independently of the data loaded.
This mode corresponds to the standard setting, meaning that for every feature, the minimum or maximum (time-related) loaded value is taken.
The current, valid value is displayed in the From (Fixed) (for the start value) or To (Fixed) (for the end value). You cannot change these values.
Here you can specify a fixed start or end date. Enter the values you want in the fields from fixed (for the start value) or to fixed (for the end date).
The input format must be adjusted to the corresponding time characteristic.

If 0CALDAY is the time-reference characteristic, then the input format has to correspond to the date format day, month, year as specified in the global setting, for example, 01.01.2000 or 2000/01/01. If 0CALMONTH is the time-reference characteristic, then the input format must contain month and year correspondingly.
Here you can specify the interval thresholds relative to the current time. Enter, as whole numbers (positive or negative), the values you want in the field from rel. (for the start value) and to rel. (for the end value). The specified values describe movement in units with time reference characteristics with reference to the current time.

If the number ‘+1’ is entered in the field rel. to, for time-reference characteristic 0CALDAY, this means that the validity period threshold is the current next day. However, if 0CALMONTH is the time-reference characteristic, then the threshold for the validity period is the next current month.
Result
The modified validity table is taken into account in reporting.
