Function documentation To Do View  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

The To do view shows tasks to be performed. Tasks displayed here have been created either manually by users or automatically by other tasks.

You can create or delete tasks only when displaying the To do view.

Note

The icon legend provides a brief explanation of the icons used in the task views. To display the icon legend, choose Utilities Show legend.

 

Features

The following information is displayed:

Status

The status of some tasks is indicated by an icon.

Dialog tasks are indicated by an Execute icon. To start a dialog task, double-click its Execute icon.

Task ID

A unique number identifying one specific task.

Session

If a task is assigned to a session, the session number is displayed.

Task Name

The task name indicates the type of task performed. Several tasks may have the same name.

Task Date, Task Time

The date and time for which a task is scheduled.

When the task processor runs, it will automatically process tasks with a scheduled time in the past.

Task System ID, Installation no.

The ID and installation number of the system with which the task communicates.

Information

To display more information about a task, double-click the information icon.

Session data

Indicates whether session data is available.

Attributes

Double-click to display scheduling and technical information.

In the dialog box, choose Expert mode to change the time and date scheduled for a task.

Log

Indicates whether a detail log was written for a task. Double-click the icon to display the detail log.

Task icon

Additional information, for example, whether the task has been rescheduled.
