When you activate the new Service Data Control Center (transaction SDCCN), the old Service Data Control Center (transaction SDCC) will be automatically locked and the AUTO_SESSION_MANAGER job will be automatically descheduled. You can then no longer use the old Service Data Control Center.

If you have activated SDCCN, but still want to use the old Service Data Control Center, you can reactivate it.

Procedure

  1. Call transaction SE38.

  2. Run the following program:

    • In releases 4.0B to 46D, /BDL/SETUP.

    • In release 6.x, BDLSETUP.

  3. Use the following program parameters:

    Leave the field empty.

    DELETE

    Deselect the radio button.

  4. You can:

    • only check the old Service Data Control Center:

      1. Call transaction SDCC. You are prompted to schedule the AUTO_SESSION_MANAGER job.

      2. Do not schedule the job.

        If jobs for both transaction SDCC and SDCCN run in parallel, session data will be collected twice, causing unnecessary system load.

    • You want to use the old Service Data Control Center (transaction SDCC):

      1. Call the transaction SDCCN.

      2. Choose   Goto   Settings   Task Processor  . Go to change mode.

      3. Choose Deactivate to deschedule the job for the new Service Data Control Center (/BDL/TASK_PROCESSOR).

      4. Call transaction SDCC. You are prompted to schedule the AUTO_SESSION_MANAGER job.

      5. Confirm the scheduling.

      The old Service Data Control Center (transaction SDCC) is reactivated.
