Use

You can define the period during which tasks will be processed, sessions and service definitions will be refreshed, or log entries will be deleted.

You can also define how often and at which intervals a task will be repeated if that task fails.

 

Procedure

To change the maintenance settings for the Service Data Control Center:

       1.      Choose Goto Settings Task-specific.

A hierarchy of task-specific settings is displayed.

       2.      Choose Task-specific Settings Session Data Collection   Maintenance   Settings.

       3.      To display the maintenance settings, click the Settings icon.

A dialog box is displayed, showing the maintenance settings: General, Refresh Sessions, Refresh Service Definitions, and Delete Data.

       4.      To change the settings, choose Display <-> Change.

The individual settings are described below.

       5.      To save your changes, choose Continue.

 

General

Settings for tasks relevant to the Service Data Control Center.

You can restrict the time period in which tasks can be processed. The task processor job will not process any tasks during the restricted time.

Activate extended log: By default the extended log is not active. It is recommended that you activate the extended log only if you need to perform a detailed error analysis.

 

Refresh Sessions

You can define the frequency at which refresh sessions tasks will be repeated.

You can define a period for which to check for new sessions. For example, you can restrict the task to only check for sessions scheduled to take place in the last 21 days and the next 21 days.

You can define the number of repeat attempts in the event of an error occurring while the task is being processed. You can also define the delay between each repeat attempt.

 

Service Definitions

The service definitions determine which data the request session data tasks and the session add-on tasks will collect for a session.

You can define the frequency with which the refresh service definitions tasks will be repeated. The service definitions should be refreshed once every 7 days.

You can define the number of repeat attempts in the event of an error occurring while the task is being processed. You can also define the delay between each repeat attempt.

 

Delete Data

These are the settings for delete old session and log data tasks.

Delete SDCC log older than: Any Service Data Control Center log older than the number of days specified will be deleted.

Delete SDCC session data older than: Any Service Data Control Center session data older than the number of days specified will be deleted.

When session data is deleted, the associated Service Data Control Center tasks will also be deleted.
