Procedure documentationViewing the Integrated BPMN Diagrams Locate this document in the navigation structure

 

You use this procedure to view the integrated BPMN diagrams, which are scenario and process flow diagrams published from Business Process Blueprinting, in SAP Solution Manager. To view the BPMN diagrams and documentation, you first have to configure the settings in SAP Solution Manager.

Prerequisites

You have SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP05 in your landscape.

We recommend that you use Internet Explorer in Compatibility View.

Procedure

1. Modify settings to view BPMN diagrams in SAP Solution Manager

  1. On SAP Easy Access initial screen, execute the transaction SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN.

  2. Select the project and choose Change Project.

  3. Choose Project Standards tab.

  4. On the Project Standards tab page, choose Tabs tab.

  5. On the Change history and visibility of tabs screen, choose BPMN Graphic.

  6. Set the Blueprint Visibility and Configuration Visibility values as Visible.

    Note Note

    On performing this action, you can see the BPMN Graphic tab, whereas the system automatically sets the Graphic tab to invisible.

2. View scenario flow diagram in SAP Solution Manager

  1. On SAP Easy Access initial screen, execute the transaction SOLAR01.

  2. Open the project.

  3. Select the business scenario.

  4. Choose BPMN Graphic tab.

  5. Enter user name and password in the Log on dialog box, if prompted.

    Note Note

    When you access the BPMN Graphic tab page, Select pushbutton in the toolbar is selected by default.

  6. In the toolbar, choose Refresh push-button to view the updated scenario flow diagram.

  7. Choose Expand speed button of the business process to view the process flow rendered inside the business process.

  8. To move the display area of the flow diagram in any direction, perform the following substeps:

    1. In the toolbar, select Pan push-button.

    2. Click and hold the mouse button and move the screen.

    3. Release the mouse button.

    Note Note

    In the toolbar, choose Select push-button to view Expand or Collapse speed buttons of the business process, or to select any shape in the diagram.

  9. In the toolbar, choose Show Documentation push-button to view the documentation created in Business Process Blueprinting tool.

    Note Note

    Depending on the security setting of Internet Explorer on the client system, a warning message is displayed when there are images in the document being loaded. Choose NO to view document along with images.

  10. In the toolbar, choose Show Graphics to return to the flow diagram.

3. View process flow diagram in SAP Solution Manager

  1. On SAP Easy Access initial screen, execute the transaction SOLAR01.

  2. Open the project.

  3. Select the business process.

  4. Choose BPMN Graphic tab.

  5. To move the screen of the flow diagram in any direction, perform the following substeps:

    1. In the toolbar, select Pan push-button.

    2. Click and hold the mouse button and move the screen.

    3. Release the mouse button.

      Note Note

      In the toolbar, choose Select push-button to select any shape in the diagram.

  6. In the toolbar, choose Show Documentation tab to view the documentation created in Business Process Blueprinting tool.

    Note Note
