You can use Interactive Reporting to centrally display the development of the most important monitoring data over time, to identify potential problems early, and to obtain an overview of the availability and performance of your various scenarios.

The reports contain various periods, from the current day to the previous year, so you can see both the current, and the long-term development of the performance values. The values for each period are automatically displayed in the appropriate level of detail (see Using Interactive Reporting).

In the reports for scenarios, you can display the most important performance and availability values of the End User Experience Monitoring (EEMon). The relevant metrics are displayed for the following entities:

  • Scenario

An EEMon scenario contains one or more technical systems that are relevant for a business scenario. The availability and the performance of this scenario is determined using EEMon.

  • Script

Multiple scripts are usually processed in a scenario, each of which maps a sequence of dialog steps within a scenario; this can be part of a business process, for example. The scripts are created centrally and distributed across various robots on which these scripts run.

  • Robot

Scripts are executed on a robot. A robot is a special instance of an SMD agent. In contrast to normal SMD agents, it is not installed directly in the managed systems, but instead in an end-user environment. In terms of their hardware and network connections, the hosts on which the scripts run should correspond to a large extent to the hosts on which the users actually use the corresponding application. The performance and availability values determined in this way then correspond to the values that the users will experience in their daily work.

  • Step

A script consists of multiple steps, which are the smallest units to which a performance or availability value can be assigned. This means a step can be the execution of a dialog step, for example.

The available reports for scenarios are divided into the following two topic areas:

  • Availability

These reports contain information about the availability of the entities listed above, and also display information about planned downtimes at scenario level.

  • Performance

These reports contain information about the response times of the entities listed above.
