Function documentation Assignments  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

All reference structures must contain blueprint-specific and configuration-relevant assignments at the structure items. The reference structure only provides an item-specific view of the existing assignments. Assignment reporting provides a higher-level view.

You can make the following assignment analyses:

In the Business Blueprint phase:

      Documentation (general and project documentation)

      Transactions in implementation and template project

      Service messages

      End user roles

      Business functions for structure items

      Consolidated project scope of business functions

      Documents and links

      Cross-tab page analysis

      business test requirements (if you use the SAP Quality Center by HP)

In the Configuration phase:

In addition to the assignments in the Business Blueprint phase:

      Configuration objects (IMG activities, BC Sets, CATTs, configuration-relevant documentation)

      Development objects (function module, transaction, program, package)

      Test cases in the implementation and template project (not relevant for test organization with the SAP Quality Center by HP)

The analyses that can be performed on the assignment objects are listed in the Scope section.

      For current project (you can overwrite the default value)

Cross-Report Selection Criteria

These are the selection criteria which are in all assignment reports:

Project

You must specify a project for cross-phase entry;

optional for phase-specific entry (current project is default)

System role

BC Set activation status values are system-role-specific. Choose the system role for which the activation status is to be checked.

Note

This is, depending on the configuration, the role Development/Customizing.

Project structure

Selection of substructures or structure elements to be reported;

Either display entire project structure, or restrict to results

Selection of attributes (SAP attributes and customer attributes) by which the structure is to be filtered; multiple selection and filter logic (AND and OR) are supported.

Display options of attributes for performance optimization:

      Do not display

      Can be selected manually from column set

      Immediate display

Logical component (not for documentation and problem messages)

Analysis of the logical components at the following structure levels:

Organizational Units

Master data

Business processes (for individual process steps)

Project Team Members

Specify one or more project team members.

Keywords (not for transactions and problem messages)

Keywords which you defined in the project administration and assigned in the project structure

You can restrict the analysis to standard transactions or non-standard transactions, as classified in the Business Blueprint phase.

Note
If you analyze a particular transaction and do not know whether it is defined as standard, make no selection here. Both alternatives are analyzed.

·         Transaction in scope or not (only for implementation project)

Restriction of analysis by implementation project scope

·         From template or added in project (only for implementation project)

Analysis of transactions which originally came from a template or analysis of transactions only added in the implementation project

End user roles

Enter role type and role

Specify whether roles are to be displayed in the analysis

Output

Project structure with object type, object, name, in scope, standard, template, project team members.

Note

If a transaction in the project scope is flagged as default transaction or comes from a template, it is flagged with an "X".

Note

        Double-click on the status goes to a selection of test packages for the test case. You can now go to the test packages whose statuses were summarized in the status analysis, in the testing (STWB_WORK).

        Double-click on the test case name goes to the test case.

        Double-click on the structure element goes to the Test Cases tab of the structure element configuration (SOLAR02).

You can go to the Business Blueprint (SOLAR01) or Configuration (SOLAR02) of the structure element and then to the Quality Prerequisites tab by double-clicking the structure item or an entry in the results list.

Documents and links

Selection

In the Documents and Links report, you can search for documents in projects of SAP Solution Manager. In contrast to the Documentation report, this report offers additional options. You can evaluate the documents based on assigned links. You can also use the “other attributes” as a filter criterion for the documents and their links.
