This function maintains recipients or recipient lists in Notification Management, to send notifications. You can copy the distribution lists in the mail server in your local system, and use them to send notifications.

Prerequisites

You have:

  • Implemented SAP Notes 1426524 and 501670 for calendar settings

  • Configured LDAP server in your system to add distribution lists from Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Domino Server

  • Maintained user details, in the SAP Solution Manager system and managed system, using transaction SU01

  • Maintained business partners using transaction BP

  • Added managed systems and the RFC destinations in the SAP Solution Manager system landscape
